ABOUT PLAY SPORTS PDX
Finding youth sports shouldn't be this hard
Play Sports PDX was created to make finding the right youth sports program easier for Portland-area families. Whether you're looking for your kindergartener's first soccer league, a competitive travel team, private training, or just trying to figure out what sports are available near you, we want you to be able to start in one place.

Play Sports PDX brings local teams, leagues, clubs and training programs together in a searchable resource built specifically for Portland-area families.
Why we built Play Sports PDX
The idea for Play Sports PDX started with a search for a travel softball team for our daughter.
What should have been pretty simple turned into hours of searching websites, scrolling through Facebook pages, asking other parents for recommendations and trying to figure out which programs existed near us.
And we realized this wasn't just a softball problem.
It was a youth sports problem
There are incredible programs throughout the Portland area, but the information about them lives everywhere — league websites, social media pages, registration platforms, word of mouth and sometimes places you'd never think to look.
As sports parents ourselves, we kept thinking: there has to be an easier way.
So we started building one.
BUILT FOR PORTLAND AREA FAMILIES
One place to start your search
Play Sports PDX is building a more complete picture of youth sports across the Portland metro area — from neighborhood rec leagues and first-time programs to competitive clubs, training academies and everything in between. We’re organizing programs by sport, location and program type so families can spend less time searching and more time finding the right fit for their kids.

And we are still growing...
New programs, updated information and additional resources are being added as we continue building Play Sports PDX.
